As adults we reach joyful states by being in the present moment, but the hustle and bustle of life often leaves us with few such moments of sexy joy. Many of us are unable to access personal sexy joy other than in moments of physical ecstasy when we are all living in the present moment and sharing a positive expression of sexy joy with our partner. How can we access a sense of personal sexy joy, touch the personal realm of positive emotion when we choose to?

Listening to the news last night I was struck by a story about women and money. The statistics show that women graduating from college make 80% of the salary of men even though their GPA was higher in college. The news report went on to say that this was attributable to women not being as assertive as men about they’re need for financial compensation. According to the report, women in the workplace tend be more care-taking and avoid making waves, as opposed to presenting themselves as a person who expects to be treated like a powerful force and asset in the workforce.

I do believe that by this decade, we women have learned that it is sexy to be successful, attractive to be powerful, and beautiful to be strong and competent. I also believe that more men agree with this than at any time in our history-men no longer have to feel that the burden of financial responsibility is all theirs--what a relief!
